The CTAG
is engaged in a program of both basic and applied research in the
area of the "Analysis and Synthesis of Linear Multivariable Control
Systems". This is a well-established area of research of applied
mathematics related to systems engineering, control engineering,
signal processing, automation, robotics, etc and dealing primarily
with:
- The
mathematical modelling of multivariable processes, signals and
systems
- The
investigation of the mathematical properties and the mathematical
structure of multivariable processes, signals and systems
- The
development of analytic design techniques for the synthesis of
multivariable control systems.
Our main
activities are
- Teaching
of the "theory and practice of automatic control" and the performance
of basic and applied research on underlying mathematical structure
and properties of mathematical models of multivariable processes,
signals and systems
- The
development of analytic design techniques and software tools for
computer aided analysis and synthesis of multivariable systems.
